I am unapologetically a self taught photographer. When asked what my preferred aesthetic is, I like to respond “I’m a multidisciplinary photographer.” I specialize in traditional poratiture, but I have a passion for pushing boundaries with composition and conceptual photography. The difference between a picture and a portrait is story. Anyone can capture a picture, but a photographer knows how to manipulate light, space, and emotions to elevate it into art.
I enjoy opportunities to teach about photography especially as a way of self-expression and thrives on helping others catch the photography bug. To learn more about upcoming clases check out our class schedule.
When I’m not loading memory cards, you can find me camping, writing, spending time with my family, and napping!
